So you want to subscribe to my blog’s RSS feed. All you have to do is add the following to your RSS reader:
Don’t know what a RSS reader is. No worries…see below:
1. Reading RSS: In order for you to read RSS, you need a RSS reader or RSS aggregator, which is “a type of software that retrieves syndicated Web content that is supplied in the form of a web feed (RSS, Atom and other XML formats), and that are published by weblogs, podcasts, vlogs, and mainstream mass media websites.”
You can read RSS in 3 different ways –
(ii) Web browsers: Internet Explorer 7, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera
If you use IE7 (Beta), it has a resident RSS engine that is installed with the browser. With Firefox however you may have to install a plug-in RSS reader. The one that I use is Wizz RSS – Absolutely priceless with seamless integration into my browser experience.
(iii) E-mail programs: Mozilla Thunderbird
2. Subscribing to RSS
Irrespective of which way you choose to receive your rss feed, all you have to do is add my blog’s RSS feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/mario to your RSS reader/aggregator and you’re good to go.
3. Subscribing via email
Now, I know some of you may prefer receiving Marketing Nirvana updates just via email since you’ve a centralized database of content. In that case feel free to submit your email addresses here.
If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
