LinkedIn's 2nd PR hire. These are my thoughts on products, public relations, and startups.

A great year for giving Thanks!

The past year has truly been a roller coaster in my life – both professional and personal. The one reason I was able to take the sweet with the sour was the support of family & friends who time and again stepped up during trying circumstances, thereby reminding me how important their contribution has been both in my success and happiness.

Here are some of the friends who have really made a difference in my life this past year:

* The community of bloggers who have helped me grow as a marketer, showing me new opportunities and better ways to work as a marketer:

Ann, CK, Mack, David, Eric, Paul, Damon and the entire community of marketing bloggers whose participation & blog conversations mean a lot to me.

* Most especially, my good friends: David, Jeremiah, Peggy, and John, for being the very definition of friendship, when I needed support and encouragement the most.

* Of course, this post would be incomplete without the mention of my Dad, Mom and Sis, who have always been there for me, helping me overcome the challenges in my life.

This truly is a day of Thanks! Happy Thanksgiving 2006!

I consider you friend and colleague. Have a GREAT holiday.

I said something that made sense? It must have been between drinks;-)

Here’s hoping that Thanksgiving went well for you. As Thailand doesn’t have a great deal of turkey, I am afraid that I didn’t have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner:)

Thanks, guys, for all your support and encouragement.

It’s been a great journey, one that I hope to continue with renewed enthusiasm, this following year. And, a year, in which I hope we can get to meet each other in person.

    Damon,
Glad to hear you’re having a crazy time in Thailand. I look forward to seeing you soon back here.

My Thanksgiving meal went great, thanks to a wonderful family who very graciously invited me into their homes.

Once again, Thank YOU all for being great friends.

  6. Hi Mario,

I am having a good time in Thailand. I am just waiting for someone to come and visit me…boo hoo (my brother should be out in about two weeks).

I just got back from Singapore a few days ago. And even though I am a “western” guy, I do think that the good ol’ USA could learn a few things from the country…I’ve been there twice and I am just amazed at how wonderfully clean the country is, how the mass transportation system works, and you hear not a single peep about racial issues (people, at least from what I can tell, seem to get along with other folks).

    Damon,

Can’t wait to have you back in town, buddy. We’ve gotta tag team on all these web 2.0 events coming our way.

Personally, I haven’t stayed in Singapore but love the airport!
